Our Opponents
North Shore currently sit in second spot, while UTS are 5th. But the Bats stunned the Bombers by a point when the two sides met at Gore Hill earlier in the season, so the Bombers will be keen for revenge. A win here will guarantee a finals spot, and leave the Bombers well placed for a top-3 finish and the double-chance in the finals
It’s a crunch game for Div 1, who will be keen to bounce back and keep themselves in the finals hunt. The Under 18s will also be keen to get back on the winning list in their clash against the defending champions. And for Div 4, after three wins in a row, this game gives the opportunity to move into the top 5.
Back to Bears Day
Next week we’ll be welcoming back past players and former legends of the club, when North Shore hosts our annual Back to Bears Day. The North Shore club has a long and proud history dating back to 1903, and this is an important reminder to us of the tradition we inherit, and that by wearing the black and red jumper and playing and supporting the game, we play our part in keeping the tradition going into the future.
For past players, lunch will be served in the clubhouse at around 1pm; with the focus then turning to what promises to be an important Premier Division fixture against UNSW-ES.
