North Shore return to Gore Hill for four games, all grades together for a marathon Super Saturday of footy.
This Week’s Matches
8:30am – Division Four v Southern Power
10:30am – Division One v Southern Power
12:30pm – Under 18s v St George
2:30pm – Premier Division v St George
Note that the two games against St George, although played at Gore Hill, are technically St George home games. Players for our Under 18s and Premier Division teams, please note that we are playing in white shorts.
However, we have the canteen all day. A range of hot and cold food, snacks and drinks will be on sale all day. Proceeds go to our club. If you have some free time and are able to help out on the canteen or BBQ, please report to Liz Fitzgerald or Alan Lees on the day. Many hands make light work!
Who will be at the AFL Grand Final this year? Will it be the Swans, West Coast, Collingwood, Geelong or Hawthorn? It could be you.
The North Shore raffle has two Grand Final tickets, plus travel and accommodation, as the big prize. To be in with a chance of being there at footy’s big day, don’t forget to pick up some tickets – see Nolan Morris at the game for your chance to win.

Our Opponents
It’s our second clash against St George at Gore Hill this year. When the two sides clashed in round 4, the Bombers were too strong and took out a comfortable win. But St George will be desperate – after a bad loss last week, their chances of qualifying for the finals are in doubt; and they need a win to keep in the finals race. The Bombers will need a strong performance to keep the Dragons out.
Online Coverage
The Premier Division clash will be streamed live online. To watch the live coverage, go to the Sydney AFL website (www.sydneyafl.com.au) and follow the AFL Sydney TV link.
Score updates from all four grades will be posted throughout the day on the North Shore website at www.northshorefc.com.au. Scorecards and photo galleries will also be uploaded.
Red And Black Ball
Saturday night after the game is the Red And Black Ball.
Note that this event is sold out and tickets will not be available on the night.
Please arrive to the Living Room at 6.30pm for a 7pm start, at which time entrees will be served.
On the night you can expect two gaming tables, blackjack and roulette. To play will cost you $7 a hand and the winner and seven runners up at the end of the night can expect to win one of several great prizes including:
Dinner and drinks for two at Le Cartel to the value of $150;
• Essen Restaurant and Beer Café voucher to the value of $75; and
• Oyster Bay Wines gift pack.
• You are able to buy into the gaming as many times as you like. To do so, please see Anna, Kat, Amy, Chelsea or Michelle on the night.
There will also be a silent auction on the night featuring many great items, and several lucky door prizes.
Please remember that it is a black tie event and jeans are not acceptable.
North Shore Player Review
Our players will be taking to the stage, to show us another side of their talents. While their sporting talent is well known, who has abilities to act, sing and dance?
All will be revealed at the Player Review, at the Gore Hill clubhouse on the evening of Saturday 28th July. It’s a night of fun not to be missed.
