Essendon Keilor College offers an elite AFL football program for students from year 9-12. The school maintains close links with TAC Cup clubs Calder Cannons and Western Jets and students in the accelerated program have access to facilities at Victoria University. The Essendon Keilor College has been a long term supporter of the Calder Cannons helping to develop many players within the Calder region over the years. Last years draftee Tom Sheridan and Rookie selection Frazer Dale completed the EKC Football Program over their schooling years.
