All of Saturday’s games against Old Brighton will be played at Haileybury Keysborough - 855 Springvale Road Keysborough 3173. The Seniors will play on the Rendall or Main Oval while the Reserves and U/19s will be playing on the Fisher – bringing back many memories. The School First XVIII will play from 11.00am on the Rendall against Brighton Grammar. This is going to be a great day of Haileybury football and I encourage all supporters to get their early to watch the various games on offer. There will be full canteen facilities and the opportunity to have some refreshments afterwards.
Well we are nearly half way through the season in what has been a bit of a mixed bag last so far. Both the Seniors and Reserves are four and four while the U/19s have won three games. A return to the winners list last week from the senior sides should give them confidence for this weekends games. The seniors will be taking on an Old Brighton side that has had a slow start to the season but appears to be improving. They sit below us on the ladder and we should be able to knock them off if playing our best football.
The Reserves had a good win last week but will face stiffer opposition on Saturday. The boys are poised to step into the four and a win over third placed Old Brighton would be an important milestone.
The U/19s have been hit with injuries over the last few weeks and this has shown in their results. Luke Pinot has been leading from the front and when a few more players get behind him, we can take some beating.
