The day started with a strong team performance by the Uner 18 Div 1 side over a competitive Surfers side.
Its been two weeks since the Magpies had a game but it did not take too long for the boys to click.
Again the boys impressed with their skill and hard attack at each contest and ran out strong winners on the day
Good too watch
The reserves where keen to be tested with a top of the table clash. They certainly where out to prove a point and played a great game running out comfortable winners putting it all together on the day.

The seniors like the 18's and reserves before where looking forward to the clash and expected Surfers to challenge hard, and they did. The game was was of a high standard with both sides working very hard to get the upper hand in each quarter. The pressure applied by both sides forced skill errors which resulted in the opposition capitalising on the score board.
The Magpies at half time had lost some major players during the first half and prepared for a very hard second half with no bench. They certainly did not let themselfs down and eventually ran out winners over a very strong Surfers outfit who will be around when it counts at finals time

On an other note , Many thanks to the organisers and staff of the social club who put on a great Black and White night on Saturday, the bird has heard every one had a great night and the photos will be published very soon
