Greater Western Sydney have re-signed five of their young players, including ex Stingrays talented midfielder Dylan Shiel, until the end of the 2015 AFL season.
Shiel is joined by Adam Tomlinson, Tom Bugg, Adam Kennedy and Matt Buntine in agreeing terms to stay with the competition newcomers for the next three seasons.
"It's a very exciting time for the club. They've shown a lot of faith in us boys and we're very happy to sign on," Shiel said.
"We're getting looked after by the club ... there's a lot of very good players at the club and we're really excited for a very hopeful future."
Giants chief executive David Matthews said he's hopeful the club will announce other re-signings soon.
GWS coach Kevin Sheedy said the five players were part of the club's long term future. "It's an important start to their career and I'd like to see that they are one-club players," Sheedy said.
