Thanks to everyone who made the Retro Night possible last weekend! It was another awesome night at the Club. The dress ups were amazing [Yatesy aka Billy Idol superb!] and there was more than enough delicious food for everyone. If you need a hand putting together a chocolate ripple cake speak to Peggy, while anyone interested in a chicken and pasta bake should head in Yogi’s direction!
The off field events have been excellent so far this year as has our attendance at the Central for Dinner and Awards after away games.
While we are thanking people, it is great to see so many people assisting in the canteen. There has been a huge number of footballers, netballers, mums, dads and even sponsors [thanks Alison] that have put their hand up in recent weeks to help out. We are always in need of more assistance, so if you can spare some time on a Saturday, please pop in to the canteen and say hello.
Results last weekend saw a loss in the Seniors, a draw in the A Grade and mixed results in the other matches.
We travel to Stratford this week for the first time and look forward to an excellent day and sharing a drink with the Swans after the Senior match in their social club. We will then head back to the Central for Dinner and Awards in the function room at 7pm. Really important matches this week in all grades as we have two weeks off after this and want to take some momentum into the BYE. Good luck to our eight teams!
Go Seagulls!
