Seniors
A great win by a far superior team. While Sunshine Heights provided plenty of spirit (as only they can do), it was obvious from the first bounce that Altona was far and away a better team. This enabled Ace to get plenty of game time into the younger palyers who had not had as much time over the last 2 games. With the whole team playing well, it was difficult to choose the best. As well as those mentioned (see below) other good players were Brett Miller, Brad Comeandow, Ziggy Kadour, Jordie Allen and Mitch Turnball. With no major injuries the game was a good one for the team in preparation for St. Albans next week.

Reserves
This team just keeps getting better each week. Playing some very good football, all of the players are starting to work well together and putting pressure on the senior players. Riak Riak was welcome return from injury adding another dimension to stoppages, as well as adding height around the ground. Ben Stornibrink is continuing to dominate with his speed and skills. Ben Davies is holding down the CHB position very well and Trent Rafferty is showing why he is considered a senior player.

U18B
With several of the A's in the team, the boys showed what class they have in playing a good Albanvale team. The boys showed a great team effort with several of the regular B players standing out. Jake Johnson is continuing to shine and develop since coming up from the U16s. Matt Clery is having a stellar year showing that he is capable of playing very good football at this level. Still needing more players, when the A's are playing, to be competitive there is the nucleus of a good team here.
