Week three results in Two out of Three on a wet cold Saturday

The day started with a good strong contest in the under 18s Div 1 Cup between two commited teams.

Despite the conditions the standard of play was of a high standard with both teams handling the wet conditions to put on a strong display of football.

On the day the Western Magpies proved too strong and ran out winners

The reserves started the game with the rain still falling and Grange really put the pressure on the Magpies who again struggled to get up and going.

However again the magpies continued to hang in the game and put together a strong come from behind last quarter to take the results.

The weather continued to be consistent and the seniors took the field in constant rain and a wet track.

Each quarter saw Grange score a quick goal and they really applied the pressure to the home team.

The Magpies struggled to match the clean skills of the Wilston Grange boys who kept their errors to a mininum an proved too strong on the day to run out comforatble winners.
