G'day folks
Sunday May 20th at RG McGees will see the Tony Agius Charity Poker Tournament, in support of beyondblue.
Tony sadly passed away recently, and was one of the regular faces in the front bar at RGs. To raise awareness for depression and to support Tony's family, his mates have put together this poker tournament.
Ben Pisani, the chef at Delishus and friend of all Jets, has created a Facebook event and says the following-
Hi guys, We are running a $100 buy in poker tournament $50 will go towards helping out Tony's mother with some expenses and the other $50 will go into the prize pool. We will also be selling tickets as of this Saturday for a signed and framed Penrith Panthers jersey. Ticket sales for this will be donated to beyond blue. This day is to raise awareness for male depression and to help out Tony's family. Private message me with any questions. You can register for this event prior to the day. once rego has been paid, money is non-refundable. Rego on the day will be from 12pm

As a footy club, we urge our players and supporters to get right behind this great initiative on May 20, and to support our sponsors at the same time. Who knows, you may walk away with the cash! Join the event by following the link above, and show how strong the local community spirit is in times of need.
Depression affects us all, either ourselves, family or friends, team mates. Talk to someone, seek the help from those around you. Always ask your friends and family if they are ok. http://www.beyondblue.org.au/index.aspx?
