Sandgate V Western Magpies U 18 Div 1 Coach's Report

The game was a hard fought contest with both teams not wanting to give the other any opportunity to win. The pressure at each contest tested our skills.

We battled hard to get to that winning edge and started the final quater with an opportunity to wrap up the game with a couple of quick goals. Sandgate had other ideas and in the opening 10 mins of the final quarter took control This put us on the back foot and we did start to look as if the Sandgate surge had broken us. But that character I talked about kicked in and we regained our team composure and managed to run out winners by 5 points

Great efforts boys and I am sure the hard work on the track will continue to see us improve. We look forward to the challenge of Wiltson Grange next week.
