Footy is here and the club is alive!
Senoirs and 18’s entered round 2 and Youth footy had their 2nd of 3 grading matches. It was a great Sunday down at the club. We hosted the U13 grading games on a very wet and full Sunday. Thanks to all of the volunteers who helped out throughout the day. Also a big thumbs up to the number of team members that came back to the club after their games to have a drink, talk footy and more importantly help out. The culture around the club is fantastic. The pic to the left is Logan Community Branch Manager – Peter Wild. Pete was turning sausages, serving in the canteen and enjoying the youth footy at today’s grading day at the club.

Club Social Events for 2012:
The club committee has announced the following events will be held this year. These events are a blast .. so be sure and join in on the fun! Keep an eye out for the dates which will be announced in future club wraps and on Puma’s TV in the club house.
$10,000 draw - 201 tickets sold for $100 each. Your chance to win $10K on the day in July.
Sportsman’s Evening – see some of the greats – past celebs have been – Phil Carman, Peter ‘Spider’ Everett, Jason Akermanis, Brendon Fevola. Full sit down meal, drinks celeb speakers, MC and Auction.
Trivia night – last year we had the best of 80s, 90s, and the Naughties in a mad capped retro dress up night of fun and frivolity. Don’t miss it – it is great value and a way to meet other parents in your team and club.
Junior Disco – our kids can really let their hair down and boogie away on this junior disco. Our very own DJ from Paul Simpson’s DJ is a master DJ on the school disco scene. He brings to our club in big style and our kids have a blast.
X-athon – we’ll be having a Sponsored Junior X-aton which will involve kicking, running and handballing to get our skills up for sponsorship. There’ll be prizes for the highest fund raiser and many other categories.
Lastly, we thank our sponsors
We have the privilege of a number of sponsors supporting the Pumas this year. Major Sponsor Logan Community Bank Branch – Bendigo Bank has come on board with a 3 year deal. Peter Wild Branch Manager is excited and looking forward to get involved with the Pumas community. Peter and his staff will also be supporting our club with volunteers over the footy season. Andrew Hickman, Pumas President had the following to say about the sponsorship. “To be able to secure this sponsorship arrangement with The Bendigo Bank is a major step forward for the club. This has been able to be achieved through the efforts of many members over the past few years to progress the club in its standing within the community.”
Look out for and say ‘Hi’ to the Bendigo team. If you have any financial needs be sure to have chat when you see them next.
We will feature a sponsor each week – this week was Logan Community Bank Branch – Bendigo Bank. Over the coming weeks - ChillMAC, Multifix Constructions, FireVac Services, Menz Refrigerated Transport, Amart Allsports, Financial Integration. Club Polo sponsors – Multifix Contrustions, FireVac Services and Paul Simpson DJ Karaoke, Slushie & Jukebox Hire.
Team Sponsors are available now. Would you like to sponsor your team?
