A well under half strength Swans side travelled to Grafton for one final hitout before the commencement of the competition on Saturday the 14th of April.
The Swans showed plenty of promise against last years North Coast premiers and the game ended up coming down to the wire with the Grafton Tigers scrapping accross the line to take the win.
Plenty of promise was shown by the boys that made the trip down with very encouraging signs by some of the newer players.
The backline did a great job all day with Phil Tsourlinis having a good game while players such as Will Ducky Kent, and Kael Herman showed plenty of development. New recruit Ash Cruickshank finished the match well with a couple of handy goals while experienced player Darren Moncrief was damaging.
The Swans focus is now on round 1 when the Swans take on the Bombers at Oaks Oval Lismore on Saturday the 14th of April.
