$1000 Draw And The Winner Is .....

A big thank you to everyone who purchased tickets and supported the club at last nights $1000 draw. It was great to see a large crowd at the club house, attended by the players, family members and friends.

As the draw concluded, we were left with two remaining tickets, belonging to Jas 'Hyphen' Russell-Jones and Sammy 'The Head' Jackson. Both these guys do a lot of work around the club and the junior AFL community, so either was going to be a fitting winner. And when the final ticket was drawn, it left Hyph as the winner. Both guys had actually agreed to share the $1000 1st prize pool and donate the 2nd prize of $250 back to club to purchase training equipment.

At the end of the evening, the crowd headed off to our new sponsors the Crows Nest Hotel, with membership cards in hand.

Thank you's must go out to Dylan '#$%' Ross for organising a great event and to Liz and Leesy for running the bar all evening.

Now we move our focus on to this Friday's Season Launch and Saturday's final practice matches.
