MOYHU may have been keeping a low profile so far this off season, but the club's latest signing won't be flying under the radar.
New ruckman Frazer Dent-Ould is an aerial specialist, and he is looking forward to bringing his exciting, high flying brand of football to the Hoppers.
Dent-Ould grew up around Moyhu, where his step dad, Gil, was a multiple premiership coach, and he said donning the green and gold had always been something he'd thought about.
"I spent a lot of time at Moyhu while Gil was there," he said.
"I was heavily involved with the structure and the vibe of the club, and it always had that professional atmosphere.
"I have a lot of mates who play out there now, so I was glad to see the success they were able to achieve last year."
The 21-year-old will bring a wealth of Ovens and Murray experience back to the club, having made his senior debut with Wangaratta in 2009 and been a regular in the firsts ever since.
And with big man Dave Renton moving on and Daniel McInnes only available for half the year, Dent-Ould is looking forward to establishing himself as the Hoppers' number one ruckman.
"Speaking to John (McNamara), he told me there was an opportunity to come in and be the primary ruckman, and that is something I was really looking for," he said.
"So hopefully I can go out and play 90 per cent of the game in the ruck.
