From all reports, pre-season so far has been great, with exceptional numbers and a real determination from everyone to do the work and set ourselves up for a big tilt in 2012.
Here’s what a few of the pre-season regulars have had to say:
“Pre-season has been clearly defined. The fitness based work has all been geared towards the tan time trial for this Monday, being the last session before Christmas. The majority of the skill based drills we’ve done have all had a common theme of competitive football.” – Rob McGloin
“It’s been a strong start to pre-season with solid turnouts to each session which will enable us to gain a head start on the competition. Great to see some of the younger boys and new faces down at the early sessions, working hard to push for senior selection. Overall, our guys have responded well to the new coaches, and I can already see a key aspect of our game plan for 2012 taking shape, through lots of competitive drills to ensure we are the best contested side in the comp.” – Anthony Ballard
“There is real purpose and direction in all the work we are doing. There are a lot of new faces and a renewed enthusiasm with the changing of the guard. The old fellas are also dominating on the track.” – Ant Auliso
