Rain thwarts Jets' victory bid

The continual rain that fell from last Sunday through to Saturday morning cost the North Richmond Jets the opportunity to chase the six points when the second day of their round seven HDCA fifth grade clash with Pitt Town was abandoned without a ball being bowled on Saturday.

The HDCA cancelled all cricket in the district on Friday morning, leaving North Richmond and Pitt Town to share three points each.

Scores: Pitt Town 193 drew North Richmond 1/2.

This week the Jets play a 40-over one day match against undefeated ladder leader Wilberforce at McMahons Park.
