Macquarie University Australian Football Club; one of Sydney’s most progressive and exciting clubs, is looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated Coaches and Assistant Coaches to join our panel of club leaders for the Sydney AFL 2012 Season.
We’re looking to fill a range of senior and assistance coaching positions including Senior Coach/Division One Coach so make sure you act fast!
Working closely with the Club Committee and Football Committee, you will plan and coordinate the training sessions and the game days of your team. As a key member of the club, you’ll be consistently looking for player recruitment opportunities and new growth areas for the club. By doing so, you’ll ensure the continued success of the MUAFC.
As the successful candidate:
- You will contribute to the club on and off the field
- Have the drive and energy needed to help develop a playing squad of 200+ footballers
- You understand the importance of developing your own coaching philosophy
- You have an inspirational leadership style; you know how to get the most out of your players
- You have great administration and organisational skills
- You have great verbal communication skills
We’ll support you with exceptional facilities that include a state of the art sports gymnasium and aquatic centre, plus two football fields for the running of your training sessions. Not to mention, you will inherit a Club that just had three teams make a Preliminary Final and one team a Grand Final.
