Boys,
After making progress as a club last year, time has come for the players to put some effort into improving individual fitness and skills before we start club in season training with Tom early next year. The more we do as individuals to improve our skills, the more time it will give Tom to develop our teamwork and tactics.
Everyone has study, work, family, holidays etc, so to give everyone a chance to get involved we have several activities for the six weeks leading up to Christmas
Skills Training
On Tuesdays 6pm, at Chelmer starting 8th November through to 13th December.
Focus is on getting a touch and working on some basic skills for about 45min to an hour,
Will keep the tempo up to work on fitness.
Individual Fitness
On Wednesday 6pm at Chelmer starting 9th November through to the 14th December.
Meet at Chelmer, then complete some fitness around the local area.
Focus is on self a paced workouts, so everyone can push themselves as hard as they can handle for 30-40 min high intensity workout. Warm up and cool down with some basic skills so those how can’t make Tuesday can still get hands on a ball.
General/Team Fitness
On Saturday at 1030, starting 12th November through to 17th December.
We will meet at various locations and do a range of activities.
More info to follow, first week will be at Kangaroo point, I hear there are some stairs and it is a good place to get a neck and eye workout.
Training is for all seniors, reserves, U/18s and any new players, we get out what we put in, what are you going to do to help the club get a flag.
