Watsonia has confirmed the reappointment of Gavan Taylor as senior coach for 2012.
In addition to Taylor's re-signing, the Saints have also unveiled Mark LeGassick as assistant coach, with the experienced duo to work together to enhance the foundations in place at Watsonia as the club strives for greater success in 2012.
Taylor took over the reins at the club at the conclusion of the 2010 season following the departure of Gary Ramsay, while LeGassick brings with him a wealth of football knowledge.
His playing career included stints with Carlton under 19s and Claremont in the WAFL, while he also has a long association with the Northern Football League.
The Saints, avoided the Division 3 wooden spoon ahead of Heidelberg West, but showed enough promise to suggest a rise up the ladder is in order in 2012.
Long serving player Steve ‘Fos’ Leeman will again take the helm as playing reserves coach, with Dean McCluskey to again coach the under 19s and to be assisted by Bill Muir.
Pre-season commences at 6pm on Monday 7th November at AK Lines Reserve.
The club is planning for more junior sides in 2012 and is looking to continue its Auskick program after a successful first season this year.
