The Newcastle City Australian Football Club is again calling for applications for coaches for our First Grade, Reserve Grade and Under 18’s for the 2012 season.
Established in 1883, the Newcastle City Blues have a long history of success on the field, a fantastic club spirit, an experienced committee, leadership group and support staff. Our First Grade side has been the BDAFL premiers since 2008 and in the 2011 season were the undefeated premiers. Together with our Junior Club, 6 of the 7 teams reached the semi-finals in 2011.
The successful candidates will need to have (or be willing to obtain) at least Level 1 (Level 2 preferred for the First Grade) coaching accreditation and have recent relevant experience. There will be an expectation that all coaches will:
- Participate with the development, planning and implementation of coaching strategies to be utilised across the whole club,
- Foster the club spirit with both the Senior and Junior clubs, and
- Develop younger players to advance within the club.
