The Ainslie Football Club held their Presentation Night on Friday 14th October.
The Choices restaurant was packed as over 200 people were in attendance.
Robert Shirley won the Division 1 Best & Fairest award ahead of Marcus Crook, with Ben Hughes in 3rd place. A full list of award winners for all grades can be seen below.
It was an emotional night as the Club farewelled some players and coaching staff. Robert Shirley and John Holmes were presented with framed jumpers in recognition of the service they have given the Ainslie Football Club. Robert Shirley is heading home to Adelaide to further his coaching career with his original club the West Torrens Woodville Eagles. John Holmes is returning back to Victoria to be closer to family. Ben Hughes is also heading home to Victoria to be closer to family.
There was also a presentation to Anthony Bourke who has decided to take a break from coaching the Reserves team. Chris Rourke in making the presentation thanked Bourkey for his great input and help over the past 5 years which has seen the Club greatly improve culminating in the two premierships.
The crowd was also entertained by up and coming talent Salvo Delorenzo. Salvo kept the audience in continual laughter with his humourous tales and songs.
The Club person of the year award was presented by President Ian Muir to the worthy winner Richard Nolan. Richard has volunteered to provide match statistics and video analysis every week to the coaches.
