The Panton Hill Football Club is please to announce the appointment of Dean Haydock as senior coach in 2012. Dean will join the club in his first senior coaching role following a stellar career as a player, assistant and leader. Dean will also have the opportunity to play alongside his brother Paul in the backline at The Hills. Jayson Burleigh will also be returning as reserves coach following a successful 2011.
Dean’s football background includes:
- Northern Knights Player 1994/1995 (back to back premiers), Player in the Victorian State Championships (U/17)
- Essendon Sup-list 1996 (Runners Up)
- Preston (in VFL) 1997/1998 (Player in the Victorian VFL Championships against Canberra)
- Subiaco WA 1999
- Heidelberg FC 2000-2009 (5 premierships, Comp Medal (2001), 2 B& F (2000,2001), GF Medallist (2009)
- Mooroopna FC 2010
- Heidelberg FC 2011 (Runners Up)
Dean lives in Diamond Creek and is a teacher at nearby Eltham College. Dean is a great fit for a strong community focused club like Panton Hill and will bring a sense of professionalism and leadership at just the right time. We’re looking forward to 2012.
