Did you know that Doncaster Heights JFC was one of the very first Australian Rules Football clubs to have a website? The Website was created back in 1996 and believe it or not it still exists!

Donny Heights First Website
This is back in the day when you accessed the Internet by dial-up modem, it tied up your phone line and you paid by the hour. Plus it took about 30 seconds to load each page. There was not a whole lot to do online. There was no YouTube, Google, Twitter, Facebook, or Wikipedia.
If you cant view the 1996 Donny Heights site, it was a single page and this is what it said:
Doncaster Heights Junior Football club has been providing young children with the opportunity of learning to play Australian Rules Football for over 27 years.
We've seen some great players go through our club including Dean Dugdale (North Melbourne), Andy Collins (Hawthorn), Aaron Lord (Geelong), Dean Talbot (Geelong), Brett Chandler (Fitzroy), Brad Nicholson (Footscray) and many more!
1996 hasn't been too kind to us as our Club Rooms burnt down just as the season was starting. However, we still fielded our teams and our players played a great season!
Our club champion this year is RYAN CARRUCAN (Under 13's) who won the Graeme Barrow Medal.
We had joint winners in the Tackers (Under 9) for the John Jenkins Memorial Medal. JONATHON TELIANADIS and TIM DUGDALE.
We also had three players represented in the district side Patrick Millman (Under 10's), Ryan Carrucan & Christopher Bruce (Under 13's).
Keep your eye on these boys because you are likely to see them playing in the AFL in a few years!
