Wyong Lakes Australian Football Club was formed in 1975 and was one of the founding members of the Central Coast Australian Football League. In 2005 we celebrated our 30th anniversary.
We have a proud history of promoting the game of Aussie Rules on the Central Coast and this is evident in our success in attracting and developing junior footballers in a highly competitive sports market. We will continue to field a full complement of junior teams - from Auskick through to Under 16's and we look forward to continued strength and success in this area.
2006 will see the club consolidating on its successful return to 1st Grade Black Diamond competition in 2005. The Black Diamond competition is played between teams on the Central Coast and Newcastle.
With our talented juniors continuing to progress to the senior ranks, our 1st Division rebuilding and ready for a new challenge, and a number of experienced 1st graders returning, 2006 looks to be an exciting year for the club.
Wyong Lakes plays out of the picturesque Don Small Oval, Tacoma. Located on a point between the mouth of Wyong River and Tuggerah Lake, with a lush playing surface and good facilities, it easily ranks as one of the premier playing fields in the competition.
If you are interested in discussing the opportunity of moving to the Central Coast and playing for us please contact our Senior coach, Paul Laksa on 0404 462504.....
