Match Previews
Our Seniors have had some good battles with Sydney Uni. We’ve played two cracking games against them already this year, and come away with the points on both occasions. Last week against Pennant Hills, the Bombers showed themselves to be ready to step up when the crunch is on at this time of year. The season is on the line, and the loser will be eliminated; but our Bombers will be coming out with intensity and determination, our rising stars giving their all in what is sure to be a contest to remember.
Our Under 18s have split their meetings with Riverview this year, going down at Gore Hill before turning the tables at Riverview late in the season. Last week, despite being decimated by injuries, the Bombers fought all the way against Pennant Hills and were desperately unlucky to go down in that match; but with another fighting performance and contesting every possession, the Bombers will hopefully be on their way to another preliminary final.
A good turnout of Bomber supporters, colourful and vocal, will go a long way towards getting our Bomber teams over the line. Now’s the time to step up, get yourself to Blacktown, wear your black and red and make plenty of noise.
