Altona Football Club held it`s 'Viking Legends Lunch' on Tuesday 13th September 2011 which was a great success. We would like to sincerely thank all those businesses who purchased tables and to those who came along individually. Without your support the Vikings Legends Lunch would not have been the success that it was.
The luncheon was hosted by the very talented Kevin Hillier and panel members included former boxing world champion Barry Michael, Melbourne Cup winning horse trainer Mark Kavanagh, former AFL superstar Andrew Bews, and former VFL/AFL player and coach Tony Jewell. Our club would like to sincerely thank you all for donating time and sharing your knowledge and your stories. There were also celebrities in the audience including Brownlow Medalist Brad Hardie, and VFL/AFL Royalty in Dr Allen Aylett and we thank them for attending.
Congratulations to Peacock Gasfitters and Plumbers P/L who won the major prize on the day which is sponsors fence signage for the 2012 season. Your company will now be proudly displayed around our ground for the 2012 season and you will be advertised on our website.
