Our Tiger VC and midfielder Lucas Matthews has taken home the Duncanson-Todd Medal for best and fairest player in the Pineapple Hotel Cup for 2011.
Lukey took home the medal with 19 votes at a count at Royal on the Park in Brisbane on Monday night.
Things were not looking great early in the night when Lucas didn't receive an umpires’ vote over the first six rounds, but then earned five three-votes and two two-votes over the remaining fixtures.
Lukey won by two votes from Western Magpies bolter Reid Dobson and his erstwhile co-midfielder Cubby Isles, who both were awarded three votes in round 18.
Finishing in fourth spot on 14 was Wilston-Granges Lee Smith, ahead of another Magpie in Chris Judson on 12.
On a huge night for the club, given that Brendan Wulf our strong Ressies Captain took home the Reserves B&F - well done Wulfy!
And Noosa AFC won Club of the Year again!
Great reward for all ..... but now the biggest prize is still up for grabs!
