2011 Coach of the Year Award

The nominees will be invited to the Presentation evening in mid September where the winners of the Inner Southern Region/MSJFL ‘ Coach of the Year’ in each category will be announced.

The details of the winners in each category will then be forwarded to AFL Victoria for consideration to be the ‘Victorian Coach of the Year’. The Victorian Coach of the Year award dinner will be held at the MCG in November.

Winners of the 2011 "Coach of the Year" Awards will be announced at the Inner Southern Region/MSJFL AFCA Coach of the Year Awards evening to be held in mid September.

Nominations MUST BE RECEIVED by Monday August 29, 2011.

PURPOSE OF THE AWARDS:

To recognise the significant contribution of coaches to the conduct and development of Australian Football in Victoria.
To recognise the achievements of coaches who give quality service to the game in that they:

- display strength of character in the role of coaching
- foster enthusiasm for, interest in, and an excellent attitude to participation in football
- give quality value to the goals and purposes of Club and League football.
- promote the healthy mental and physical development of players
