The Lismore Swans were very turned up to play in the first half of the weekends game producing a competitivve performance putting much pressure on the opposition however found themselves 20 points down at half time although having the same amount of scoring shots as the Swans trailed 6.8 to 10.4.
Tweed started to play better than the Swans in the third which saw the Tigers extend their lead to 34 at the final break and a disappointing final term allowed the Tigers to run away 62 point winners.
Many positives to come out of the game with a great effort by Phil Tsourlinis taking some solid marks in the back line while Dean Webb had strong hands in the first half and ruckman Jason Bevan worked tirelessly.
Best on the day were Phil Tsourlinis, Jason Bevan, Daniel Bruce, Rowan Hindry, Angus Legoe and Dean Webb.
Goals went to Dean Webb with 4, Jak Johnson 2, and 1 each to Rowan Hindry and Wesley Seewald
This match marks the end of the home and away season. The Swans now look forward to next weeks do or die match against Byron in the knock out semi final in Lismore
