Another big round of matches this weekend when the seniors and reserves play Old Carey and to say we owe these blokes would be an understatement. Certainly the seniors can knock them off if they play like they did against Scotch. Last week's result was reward for having played well the previous weeks without jagging the points. This weekend will be about building on that momentum that will take us through to the end of the year. We have an exciting few weeks coming up and it continues this Saturday. The boys are playing good footy so all supporters should be seen and heard at McKinnon this Saturday. The ressies will have the opportunity to restore some pride after a lacklustre performance last week. It has been a tough year so far for this crew but there are five opportunities to get some runs on the board. A couple of massive games this Saturday.
The U/19s also have a huge game when they take on St Bernards who are currently second on the ladder. A win here would go a long way to ensuring finals footy. They have been on a roll lately and lets hope it can continue. Last week was a tighter game and the boys know they will have to be at their best against a traditionally strong club.
The School First XVIII take on Carey in the last game of the year for them. After a good win over Scotch last weekend, the lads will be looking finish the season off on a real high.
So and exciting round of football awaits followers of the magenta and black. Support and support with passion - Carna Bloods!!
**Tony Brown will be our very special guest at the luncheon this Saturday. For those that may not know, Tony has been plying the trade of club runner for Collingwood this year. One of the most respected jobs in football, Browny has done it with his normal aplomb. He will shed some light on the goings on at the club many expect to be playing Geelong in the AFL Grand Final. So join us and the BBQ Chefs for some fine fare. We shall kick things off at 12noon.
