Ainslie came up against an in-form Eastlake team in their Round 17 NEAFL game at Manuka Oval. The first quarter was a tight contest with Ainslie getting a 10 point lead at the first break due to their accurate kicking. Eastlake kicked the first 2 goals of the second quarter to even up the game before Ainslie added the next 5 goals to take a 28 point lead into halftime.
Ainslie had a very good third term kicking 8 goals to 5 to extend the lead and were able to continue on in the last quarter to run out winners by 61 points. Ben Hughes had an outstanding game for Ainslie kicking 8 goals.

The Ainslie Div 2 team had a good win over Eastlake. The win was setup by a dominant second term where they kicked 5 goals to nil to take a 29 point lead into half time. They ran out winners by 34 points,

The U18s returned to the winners list with a comfortable 133 points win over Gungahlin.

The 3rd Division team had a great victory over Woden Blues a team they have struggled to beat for some time. The final margin was 58 points.
Final score: Ainslie 15.15-105 def Woden 7.5-47
The Women's team had a tough road-trip to Wagga to play Riverina and the local team put in a good day beating Ainslie by 65 points.
Final score: Ainslie 3.1-19 def by Riverina 13.6-84
