A Grade
Lakes missed a number of scoring opportunities in the first letting Lindenow take the lead by two goals at the first break.
Lakes regrouped and played a terrific second quarter led by some great defensive work from Deanne McKendry.
A great team effort saw the Seagulls take a lead of eight into the second half. A strong second half from all players saw Lakes extend its lead to run out winners by sixteen, 43-27.

B Grade
Brodi Watts played a great game in attack this week with her height proving too much for the Lindenow defenders to handle.
With regular goal attack Cindy Beha forced from the court with injury, Lindy Bills stepped into the ring and combined well with Brodi all game.
Strong defence from the whole team limited Lindenow's scoring opportunities and Lakes never looked troubled getting up by 25 in a comfortable win, 47-22.

C Grade
A good win for the C grade girls last week with Indi Ellis and Monica Davidson combining well in the goal circle and some great defence from Tara Gray and Teagan Hack limiting Lindenow's scoring opportunities.
Ry Carroll was strong in the centre court all game helping her side increase its lead at every break. Lakes winners by eight, 32-24.

C Reserve
On a beautiful sunny day, C Reserve were forced to start with an unfamiliar lineup with a number of players unavailable this week.
A high scoring game saw the whole team combining well in an entertaining match.
Morgan Chester stepped up from D grade for her first game in the higher levels and played a great game in defence combining well with Tahlia Sumner who had her opponent rattled for the whole game.
The inclusion of the Davidson sisters - Jasmine and Monica - for a game of netball proved a good move as they were required to fill gaps all day as sides were short.
Lakes was able to hold a lead at every break to get home by six, 43-37.

D Grade
D grade took three quarters to settle this week with poor passing causing many turnovers throughout the game.
Lindenow was more settled and led at every change with Lakes finding it difficult to stop tall goalie Caitlin Reed.
Lakes was able to regroup in the last quarter and gained the lead with some great defensive pressure from Morgan Chester and Emma Terjesen.
The girls were then able to move the ball down the court well allowing the goalies more opportunities to score.
A great effort in a come from behind win. Lakes by three, 22-19.
