'AFL NSW/ACT Indigenous Programs' are currently seeking expressions of interest from talented Under 15 Indigenous footballers (born in 1996) for selection to play in a national Indigenous U15 football carnival to be held on the Gold Coast from 31 August to 4 September 2011.
The Kickstart Future Leaders Camp is an Indigenous development program for boys born in 1996. Now in its sixth year, the program offers talented Indigenous sportsmen with a once in a lifetime opportunity to be exposed to AFL talent pathways, AFL club recruiters and meet professional players.
The program provides Indigenous boys with a chance to learn about leadership, health, education, life skills and to showcase their sporting ability to further their own football careers. Through education programs, Kickstart will also help develop boys into leaders in their communities.
