In the Round 12 NEAFL game at Ainslie Oval Belconnen got off to a good start and led Ainslie by 15 points at Quarter time. Ainslie fought back in the second quarter but Belconnen still led at the break by 2 points.
Ainslie fired up after half time kicking 6 goals to Belconnen's 2 goals in the third quarter led by a strong marking and accurate Nick Paine. Ainslie extended their lead in the last quarter and won a very hard fought game by 39 points.

Ainslie Division 2 kept their unbeaten record intact in a low scoring tight game against Belconnen. It was a close game throughout with Ainslie up by 2 points at the final break. A good final quarter allowed Ainslie to win by 13 points.
Ainslie's Michael Lawless was awarded the Read Medal as the best player on the ground.

The U18s put in a more determined effort to give leading team Belconnen a scare. A very good 2nd and 3rd quarter had Ainslie within 9 points at the final break. Belconnen were able to hang on winning by 15 points.

Ainslie 3rd Division were jumped by Murrumbidgee to be down by 5 goals at quarter time. However Ainslie outscored Murrumbidgee for the rest of the game but still lost by 26 points.
