Seniors home by 5 points.
It was a good standard of football by both clubs on the weekend.
Reservoir started well at the wind assisted end as our boys battled to score 3 goals against the wind, Toady snagged 2 & Russ Elder was strong down back with the assistants of Timmy J & Trav Stevens.
Second quarter with the wind & the boys were asked to kick a head or at least break even, they battled hard and with a few minutes left in the quarter we were 2 goals in front, but a lack of concentration in the final minutes saw Ressa snag 2 late goals, Bobcat was the better player in the quarter.
3Rd quarter Gaz asked the boys to give it their best shot and match them as this will set up a last quarter win if we have it in us, big Andy had been good in the ruck & Haggie was working hard in & under as young Della was breaking the lines across the centre this set up the final quarter show down.
Final quarter and the scores were 2 points the diff Ressa’s way the boys were encouraged to take them on & take risks which they did Sigg’s stood up as too Wardy & Shan Ball, the wind had dropped as Jinnettie went for a run with a long kick forward & Whit’s finished it off & the boy’s looked home, someone forgot to tell the Ressa boys as they kept coming with 3 minutes to go and the Morang boys had to play keepings off and managed to come home with a hard fought win. Congratulates to Gaz & the boys it was a very good win & good standard of play, as the boys have a rest next weekend.

Reserves.
Ressies started like a house on fire kicking the first 5 goals, with Webby & Stewie kicking a couple each, Shan Mac had started well as did Big Ben and the boys were up & about.
Second half and our boy’s had gone to sleep, letting Ressa back in the game and ahead on the score board. Gazza M was making all the moves to get the boys up but at the final siren the boys had ran out of stream and went down by a lot, work hard on the track boy’s & use the bye as a training run to catch up.
