The Mooroolbark Football Club wishes to advise that Senior Coach Bernie Ryan will leave the club, effective immediately, after nearly 5 years at the helm.
The club thanks Bernie and his family for their time, dedication, expertise and knowledge over recent years – especially his involvement as Senior Coach in our Premiership Year.
Bernie has long supported the Committee and, on behalf of all Executives, Players and Members, we wish him well with his future football career.
The Club is currently in the throes of appointing a new Senior Coach for the remainder of 2011 and hopes to complete this process as soon as possible.
In the short-term, however, we are pleased to announce Mark West as ‘care-taker’ coach up to, and until, final details are sorted.
The Committee appreciates this is a significant change to the structure of our Football Club, but wishes to ensure Members and Players that we will stay on track. Change can be a wonderful opportunity if we stick together and endeavor to be a dominant, worthy addition to 2nd Division Football.
Let’s show our Mooroolbark passion and band together as a CLUB. Let us be as ONE and strive to make the BEST out of this situation!
