The second quarter started how the first had ended with Hills pressing forward and attacking the goals, David Vangelli started to get into the game together with Ryan Byrne and Simon Gunn, and the Hills were able to stretch the margin at the main break to an even eleven goals.
During the halftime break John Garrard (Coach) spoke about the importance of finishing off games when on top of your opposition! With the words ringing in the teams ears thats what the Hills set about doing. The team kicked 8 goals for the quarter with Brendon O'Connor snagging Two, and the coach also chipping in for a couple as well. The last quarter went much the same as the previous Three, with the Hills pouring on another 9 goals. O'Conner again chipped in for a few,and Parker added two more to his tally. Big fella Tristan (Teddy) Kreymborg posted his last for the day to finish with 3 for the game.
A great win for the Hills with Ben Parker being named best on ground and every other player doing their job to make sure the day went Panton Hills way. We now go into the Easter break followed by our first Bye. Our next game is against Parkside on Sat May 7th. A much stiffer challenge awaits. Can we do it. YES WE CAN.
