Our Opponents
Illawarra Lions were previously known as Wollongong. Last year wasn’t a great season for the Lions, and they came bottom of the ladder in Premier Division and didn’t make the finals in any grade. But they have a new lineup this year, with some new faces – and won’t be a team to take lightly.
Last year on both occasions our teams took on Wollongong, North Shore got up in all three grades. Our coaching staff and players will need to put in a strong first-up effort to maintain the winning streak this time.
Late changes to the draw have seen our Third Division rostered to take on Saints AFC. The Saints have long been a successful junior team in the Maroubra area, and last year entered a senior team for the first time, making the finals in Fourth Division. With a last-minute promotion, the Saints senior team will provide solid competition for our new thirds side.
After the Game
All players, members and supporters are invited to the after-match function in the clubhouse after the Premier Division match. Our coaches will speak about their games, and the best players from each game will be named. The function should conclude about 5:30pm.
Online Coverage
Score updates from all games will be posted on North Shore’s website at www.northshorefc.com.au . After the game, detailed scorecards will be available by clicking on the Fixtures/Results tab; and media galleries from the games will be uploaded.

Membership forms will be available at the canteen on game day, to enable you to become a part of the club and maintain our strong links to the past and to the future of the club.
