- In 2008 Brendan began his AFL career for the U/12 Hawkesbury Saints playing mostly at Centre Half Back and Centre Half Forward. Able to kick 10 goals in his debuant year Brendan received the Rising Star Award and became a Runner-Up Premiership Player.
- In 2009 Brendan played for the U/14 Hawkesbury Saints, only his second season Brendan had an outstanding year, playing mostly on the wing Brendan's speed and determination to win the hard footy not un-noticed, selected for the U/13 Greater West, competing at Sydney Showgrounds. The 14's Preliminary Finalists in season 2009.
- In 2010 Brendan is playing for the U/14 Diviision One Hawkesbury Saints and regularly backs up for the 16's. Now in the midfield Brendan is having an outstanding year. On top of all that Brendan has taken on one of the tougest jobs in the game-umpiring. He attends Hills Sports High School AFL program and this weekend will play his 50th game for the club. - In 2011 Brendan plays the 16's and again is umpiring, that and success in the swimming pool at the State Carnival in the 15yrs boys relay 5th in the state, Brendan has also been selected for the Sydney West Schoolboys U/15's team. Big year Brendan Well Done.
