Clubs,
Have just received our half time Auskick experience allocation for the first half of season 2011. We have been lucky enough to get Round 2 at ANZ stadium for the Sydney Swans V Essendon, Sunday April 3rd.
Attached are the exact details to communicate to parents but in a quick summary every club can invite 9 players accompanied by 9 adults and there are 2 extra tickets for the coach and coordinator/helper for the night. This means you will get 9 tickets for players and 11 for adults all together. As per the letter you can purchase more tickets for families just read the letter carefully for further details. Those clubs who have larger numbers, as per previous years will get another opportunity to participate in half time Auskick later in the season at another game.
I would encourage clubs to provide this great experience to new Auskickers within the club or even use this as an incentive to get more children to sign up over the next couple of weeks. Maybe a competition of which of our current player brings the most friends to training get to win the Half time Experience, Just a thought.
Can all clubs get back to me ASAP to confirm your position for this date, otherwise I will have to fill the position.
Auskick Reminders
* Please remember I will be conducting a specific Auskick practical and rules/policy/draw discussion session at the coaches forum this Sunday 5:30pm at Blacktown Olympic Park, would love to see as many people there as possible.
* Please submit U8's teams nominations via email so when the draw is released I can construct our U8's draw in correlation with U10's. At this stage I have only received a email from Rooty Hill Power, Blue mountains Kangaroos and Camden Blues confirming numbers. Guys this is really important.
* Continue to explore avenues of recruiting to try and get more participants to make this a great year of Auskick. Refer to my recruitment document distributed at our previous meetings.
* Any club interested in hosting an Gala day please let me know as there are still spots available.
* There are still clubs who need their equipment in the form of footballs, apparel, manuals/folder and packs. Please contact me to arrange or attend next meetings to collect prior to season.
* Level 0 coaching for parents conducted by AFL at clubs. Please let me know a date if you have not already to conduct parent level 0 to encourage more volunteers and that friendly family environment Auskick is all about.
Thanks guys please do not hesitate to contact me for clarification on any of the above.
Look forward to your responses.
Kind regards
