Panton Hill's own Craig "Huggy" Huggins has used his 9 game return to football in 2010 to pivot himself into the Brisbane Lions Legends Team next Friday evening at Etihad Stadium along with many of the Lions Premiership Greats including Craig McCrae, Justin Lepistch, Allisatir Lynch, Chris Johnson and Mal Michael. The special 9 a side team will play against an Essendon line-up and then a second game against St Kilda between the NAB cup matches. Money raised from the game will be donated to the Flood relief.
Huggy is a former Panton Hill Reserves Captain and 100+ game player who also plays a key role in assisting with functions and fundraising for the Redbacks. Huggy had a four year absence from playing football but made a senstaional comeback last year to play 9 games including finals football. As many of you will know, Huggy is also a presenter on Gold 104.3 and is a huge Lions fan....so an opportunity for him to play in a game like this is one he couldn't resist. Good luck Huggy.
