Sandringham Sign Marigliani

The Zebras have landed former Essendon Rookie Marcus Marigliani who signed for 2 years last night.

“Riggers” played two games for Essendon last year and tore the VFL competition to shreds under Brett Lovett in his time at Frankston (2008 & 2009) earning back to back selection in the VFL team of the year. Marigliani is an Inside midfielder whose positioning and work rate at stoppages is brilliant. Marcus can also play inside 50 as a small lead-up forward and his 2.99sec 20m and 15.3 beep test results confirm his athletic ability.
