Travis Mills started playing AFL for Koondrook-Barham between Echuca and Swan Hill in Victoria in the Under 12's and progressed through junior footy and scored spots in Rep football each year before moving into the Thirds (Under 17's) where he won the Club B&F at that level two years running.
At the tender age of 16 (when he was the same size as he is now) he grabbed a Senior spot and played over 50 games with the men and learned how to get a kick against the bigger bodies as only Senior footy can teach you.
Then 5 years ago Millsy visited his dad who lived on the Sunny Coast and immediatly thought "How Good is This" and was back up in a flash to live here.
Apart from a season back down South playing for Echuca, Millsy (also tagged with 'Staffy' by his mates) has been wearing the number 2 jumper at Maroochydore and playing as a rover come small forward.
A qualified Boiler maker, (not to his liking in the end) Travis has worked as landscaper and now concreter and despite being a West Coast Eagles supporter enjoys all things AFL.
You just have to watch Millsy on the field to see the joy playing footy brings to him and the boys have already said how good it will be to have him bring his energy to Tigerland - I reckon he will fit in great and become a real bonus in our challenge for success in 2011.
All at Noosa welcome you here Millsy and we hope you achieve everything you want at Tigerland and enjoy being a part of our great group of blokes
