While the Premiership cup eluded Panton Hill in 2010, the Redbacks capped of a great season will three players named in the NFL team of the year , Senior coach John “Hollywood “Garrard crowned leading goal kicker and Club Captain and Former NFL Best and Fairest Will Box again polling well in this years Division 3 Senior vote count.
In an outstanding finish to the season Will Box was named at Centre Half Back Joffa Byron on the wing and John Garrad at Full Forward in the NFL Division 3 Coaches' Team of the Year. Boxy Also finished third in the medal count going down by just two votes to Ryan Docherty from Reservoir.
So that concludes the last official event of a memorable 2010 season and although we were beaten by Parkside in the 1st Semi Final, we only lost one game after Round 5 and have build a solid base to have another serious crack in 2011.
