Tradelink Western Magpies hard man James Rozynski has won the Magpies 2010 Best and Fairest Award the Bill Peirce Medal with 71 votes from ever reliable defender come forward Ed McDonnell on 47 votes.
Following his outstanding season with the Western Magpies the former Toowoomba and Country Kookaburra junior built a reputation as one of the QAFL’s hardest and most honest midfielders.
Rozynski also represented Country Queensland at the Australian Country Championships in Canberra and secures a spot as one of the Western Magpies favourite sons adding to his Ray Poulter Medal for best on field in the 2008 Pineapple Cup Premiership win.
Dan Moore father of Gerard Moore won the Senior Club Person of the Year for his fundraising efforts and cooking the match day BBQ every week. Todd Dunn was recognised for the senior player that devotes time and energy to the junior club with the Barrie “Phantom” Johnston Award for coaching the Sherwood Second U/16 Team.
