Swans 5.6-36 to Byron 5.5-35 as the game was turning out to be a ripper.
The Swans switched it on in the third term as they dominated all around the ground using great run through the midfield driving the ball forward as they broke the game open with a 6 goal to 1 third term as the Swans capitalised on there opportunities. A blow to the Swans as Mitch Montgomery was sent to hospital with concussion but the Swans kept attacking to lead by 5 goals at the final break. Swans 11.8-74 to 6.8-44.
