THE next generation of two famous Geelong Football Club names are starting to make their own mark on the football scene.
Leopold's Jed Bews, son of former Geelong captain Andrew Bews, and Lara's Josh Walker, the grandson of Geelong's 1963 premiership defender Peter Walker, both starred in the Geelong Falcons win over the Eastern Ranges on Saturday.
The 194cm Walker booted five goals playing as a key forward while Bews was given the side's blue collar award for his tireless efforts in defence in the side's 32-point win that cemented them in second spot on the ladder.
