On a stunning almost windless day our Tigers took on local rivals Maroochydore in a match that was hoped to prepare our team for the increased intensity that will come at us in the week's ahead.
And as both sides hit in hard at the contest and used the ball with method, it was an interesting opening for the very healthy home crowd at Weyba Road.
With Pagey dominating the ruck contests and JR looking fresh and intense as well as Azza reading the stoppages like a map, it was Noosa who had 8 shots to 5 in the first quarter and who looked as if they were in good nick. Bocky presented well and Jimmy Brain looked in touch up forward whilst down back Trompfy looked freer in his movement and Jason Boydle rebounded well. Springy was also in everything in the opening 30 minutes.
In the second quarter Maroochydore hit back but through Zac Smith's good work, Gary Wallace showing some form and Cubby running from end to end it was Noosa who still held sway at the long break.
In the third term Lucas Matthews imposed himself on the contest and as well as kicking two goals he ivolved himself all over the paddock. Special mention to the forward 6 who applied more pressure and application than you could see and by both keeping the footy in the area and the great work of all the boys, our Tigers added 7.3 to 1.1 for the quarter to effectively ice the match.
Four goals to one in the last term saw our boys record a 60 point win and consign the vistors to an away final at Sandgate although don't write off the Roos as they have had a very good season.

Final Ladder
In the early game at half time it was Noosa ahead 4.4 to 2.4 with the game still too close to call.
From there though it was all Tigers as our boys added 11.6 to 1.2 in the last half to play themselves into the finals!
Steve Simpson again led in the ruck and Chayse Tilley was back to his running, rebounding best whilst Josh Reichman bounced back in the two's with a great display and Wulfy was very disciplined and very effective against his old side
Great effort boys and good luck in the finals!
