The Swans were unable to contain the Tigers in the first half in the final game of the season at Mortimor Oval. The Swans were unable to convert there shots on goal in the first term kicking 5 behinds without a goal to trail at the quarter time by 22 points. A very poor second term saw the Swans kick 3 goals to 8 as the Tigers took control of the match going into the main break with a 53 point lead.
The boys copped a spray at half time and this spurred the boys to be a lot more competitive as they matched the Tigers in the second half to end up going down by 67 points. A few positives to come out of the game but the game showed that the Swans are not quite there yet. Lismore need to start linking up better if they are any chance of coming into the finals. Final score Lismore 7.12-54 Tweed Coast 18.13-121.
Best for the Swans were Nick Harris, Eddie Burton, Alex Power, Jake Ryan, Angus Legoe and Nathan Box.
Goal kickers were all singles to George Massa, Eddie Burton, Daniel Moloney, Tim Piper, Jake Ryan, Tom Waters, Mitch Montgomery
